The Blacksmith Festival

The Blacksmith Festival takes place annually in late July at the Technical Museum. The festival is a meeting place for professionals as well as the general public where people of all ages and all walks of life have a good time. Music, dancing and dining are part of the event as well as lively exhibitions and education. Number of courses on offer such as blacksmithing, knife-making, whittling and metal casting. Live concerts and dancing on the Saturday evening on the old pier. Free for everybody and all age groups are welcome.
